What age is your mini?
Hi, i have a mini 13 cooper on a 96 which my son drives and i also have a mini van which is a 1983. The last owner stuck a 1300 auto in it which runs like a dream actually, but would not be my choice. i purchased a 1300 with all disc brakes etc which is still sitting in a box waiting for the auto to die.

I'm sure if you drop this into the technical section of this forum some clever person will be able to help you out. There is actually a specific area for assistance with MPI models
