Bit more work in the engine bay, additional engine steady bar fabricated for the n/s, similar to the ERA turbo cars.
Wiper system completed, motor is now inside the car, it’s not as noisy as I thought it would be. Spindles now pass through a tube welded to the scuttle and bulkhead. Washers pass through the spindle too, just need to find a neater way to cover the nuts now.
Bonnet has needed major surgery. First off it has had a bulge fabricated to cover the engine, then the internal brace modified to retain strength. The rib down the middle has also gone in keeping with my smoothed look. Need to decide what to do with the grill now. Bonnet needs filler sorting, had to primer it to keep away the rust as it was taken back to bare metal and the damp conditions are a pain in the butt.
