How Do I Remove This?

Turns out it's some sort of cap held on by friction. 

 

Any way covers now off and into washing machine. :)

Just taking my seat covers apart to wash.

 

Cant figure out how to remove this stud.

Also wanted to take the head rest covers off but it seems to be stapled in.

Starlock fastener, only way is to lever it off, which'll probably destroy it
