I have a new USB flash drive and I want to password protect it. I would be happy with a solution that protects either part of the drive or the complete drive. I can't use bitlocker because not all the computers I plug it into are bitlocker enabled. I'm wary of just downloading a search engine provided solution given it may include spyware.

Any use?

Not a recommendation, just thought manufacturers' sites would be a good place to look.

You can get hardware encrypted ones too.

Thanks for the link. I checked it out and it looked legit so I downloaded it. Checked it for viruses and it was clear. I've installed it and it works just fine. Problem sorted.
