So this is my current customer rebuild. City E shell for panel work and paint. Is a pretty good original shell, previous owner has cut front off and done some pretty dodgy flitch panels and half a scuttle panel which will have to be re-done.

 

 

 

Door skins off and rotten frame bottoms cut out and replaced - 

 

 

 

Will keep this updated.

It's going to be a daily driver so nothing too mad, original 998 engine etc. Colour scheme is going to be old english white with black roof.

Nice update Josh.

 

It's in the state I acquired the car in, I've rebuilt the engine but needed someone with the skills to sort the shell which is where Josh comes in.

 

Plan is to keep as original as possible and use as a daily drive.

Old inner wings, flitches and scuttle off and all cleaned up and doors done ready to start lining things up and fitting the inner wings -

Oversill, dodgy door step and inner sill etc all off, going to have a full assembly down to the first flute of the floor -

Floor, sill, heelboard, companion closing panel, door step all in on the City shell. Inner wing and door test fitted to get the gaps all good -

Nice work, is that the heritage door step that has the a-post attached to it? If so any they any good looking at getting some for our resto and heard the pattern ones aren't the best...
