Hello all. I have 2 Minis with 1380 A+ engines and have been advised that the ignition coils I am using aren`t really suitable. Both cars run a Sparkrite pointless dizzy so my question is - what IS a suitable coil for this set up please?

30 secs on Google and I’d guess the one they sell at the bottom of this page:
http://www.accuspark.../sparkrite.html

But ring them and tell them exactly what you have.

My mistake. Just looked up my ebay history and the dizzy I bought was a Powerspark one complete with coil and HT leads. Yet my tuner tells me the coil is one for points, odd.

Normally with these if you have the wrong coil, it will destroy the module. If it's running, the coil is fine.
