Many moons ago, whilst I was at college studying motor vehicle engineering, my uncle bought a mini van. We rebuilt the bodywork, painted it, assembled the sub frames and engine aaaaannnnndddd that was it. It was moved out of the garage and stored in another garage whilst other projects were completed, including my mini turbo.
Roll on 20years and now Im back at the college teaching motor vehicle engineering and the van had not been finished. My uncle was diagnosed with tonsular cancer last year and that was when I decided that the van needed to be finished. Hes been given the all clear now. I kidnapped the van and took it to college, for years my uncle said all it needed was putting back together. But alas, it needed much more. Again I stripped it to a bare shell and set about rebuilding it. It is not meant to be concourse, we want it to look as original as possible but without having to worry about the minute details. It is to be used, not to be shown.

Passed its MOT with flying colours, only issue was an oil leak from the tapper chest where the gasket had not sealed correctly. Not to sort th exhaust so it fits properly (or as good as they get) and get it back on the road.
