I've been trying this week to get my rear fog light working due to an up coming Mot at end of month. It's was fully working upon my last check a few months ago. The switch on panel is not lighting up at all with headlights on. Upon moving some of the cabling around in boot it briefly came on.

 

The fog light itself is only a year old, I've check all connections to fog light and fuses which all seem ok.

 

Could someone confirm which inline fuse colour is for fog light ? I believe it's the yellow and purple one from looking on here, the mini itself is a 1992 998cc carb.

If you moved the wiring in the boot area you have a bad connection somewhere

silly reply I know - have you got the headlights on, as it only comes on with the headlights ???summit do with the law

Yes had headlights on with fog light switch whilst testing various items.

might just come unplugged in the boot or the bulb gone, best checking for s live
