hello

i'm thinking about getting my mini undersealed as it barely has any on (and getting water in both front footwells)

just wondering if you've had this done by someone else how much have you paid?

(i dont have the space to do this myself)

thanks in advance! :)

One of the main things is to make sure its spotless underneath and dry, otherwise its a waste of time

Unless its a new build it takes a while to clean out all the nooks and crannies...

Headlight bowl backs, A panel corners, scuttle panel corners, rear subframe mounts / radius arm mounts / heel board

Its amazing how much dust and crud ends up on the floor

If you underseal the dust and moisture in its just covering rust trouble for the future

I used to look after a 72 Clubman that had an annual clean and blast with old oil and had done for years, the MOT man was always amazed. So I did the same on it 3 times, at the annual service it went home with new oil in the gearbox and the old oil coating the under-body and subframe. The only other one I have seen as good and original has been in France all its life, minimum moisture and dry climate makes a huge difference.

i will check everywhere you said :) the garage i took it to the weekend for advice also said that, they restore all sorts of classics and told me you really have to get it clean otherwise its pointless, just waiting to take it there one of the days and they will check it over for me and give me the best option. and that's amazing! do you know if its still around? would be a shame if it had a new owner and its gone downhill from there!
