Wiring A 65D Distributor After Replacing A 59D

Could anyone tell me about the wiring at the coil when changing from a 59d to a 65d electronic distributor, i have the small 2 wire loom from the 65d to the coil but not sure about the original wiring.the car is a 91 and it's a mg metro engine.

Ok I think I've sussed out the above, now I previously removed the ballast resister wire but didn't disconnect the yellow and white wire from the starter solenoid, can this wire be removed as I now have a permanent 12 volt feed from the fuse box?

disconnect the yellow /white wire, no longer needed. Did you remove the ballast resistor from the loom?

Yes I removed the pink and white wire.

Yes I did see this,is the black and white wire coil negative as I don't want to cut the protective cover on the plug
