Can you change the speedo drive components on a Mk2 Elf/Hornet gearbox?
As nicklouse said -Yes.
....but will the speedo be correct? Depends on your FD, wheel rolling diameter, & the Speedo head fitted

Problem is there are 2A, DAM and TX part numbers. I think as long as they are paired theyll be ok.

Done all this myself when i changed my FD (over a decade ago!), speedo ended up being more accurate than the standard set-up
You need 18/7? TXF1004 is 18.... but TXD1006 is 5
I've found two numbers for 7 tooth -3.1FD 16 green DAM2905 7 blue DAM6028
-2.76FD 15 black TXD10004 7 yellow TXF10001
