Let's play a little game

I've had a local mini firm come and look over my city e, it's no worse than I feared but still quite a lot of work. I'll list what it needs and you lot guess a price and we'll see who gets the closest when I receive the quote.

All works include all relevant sealants and protective coatings after the panels he been done.

Full front floor pans both sides.
Rear floor pan.
Sills both sides including inner and step sills.
Full rear ns arch.
Of rear arch repair.
Boot repair panel.
Boot hinge repair panel.
Full front scuttle.
Rear valance.
Both door skins and repair to window frame
Repairs to bulk head where sills and floor pans meet.

At my request 2 piece removable front end as the wings and such need coming off for the scuttle.

Then full respray of outer to start with in original flame red.

Annnnnnd go!

Mmm, depends on the company doing the work and of course what brand of panels. So i will go for all magnum ones and have a punt at £4659.75p.

Far too many variables here.

I'll narrow the band down a bit.

They only use heritage panels, and I'm going for either a round nose fibre or carbon front end to be painted and a showing weave bonnet and showing weave rear valance. So I'd ignore the front end price and focus on the metalwork

Sounds like if it needs both front floor pans, a rear floor pan and inner sills they should be fitting a complete floor, very cheap panel for what it is and gives you a good solid base to build from.

I'm going to say 6K, if its any more than 10K buy a heritage shell, have it painted and swap all the bits over, it will be cheaper!

I had less welding work done but a full re-spray at a side project rate and it cost me £5k so I'd guess about £6500 - £7K

Im feeling hopeful guys, I've had a price in mind for a while and been saving more because its taken a back seat and so far all of you have come in well below my budget so this is making me happy.

I had thought about the new shell if the price goes above the cost of one. Problem being is that will cost me more because I'll obviously have to, no must go buy more new parts to throw at it :)

On a side note if any one is thinking of replacing the front, boot and rear valance it comes in cheaper from curley composites to have to following rather than replacing it all with steel, only by around £40.00, but still.

Carbon weave rear valance

Carbon weave mk1 bonnet

Carbon weave mk3 boot skin

GRP front end

£1 and a banana...

If its anymore than £6K Id also be looking at getting a new shell, it will be cheaper and last longer than the repairs...
