having had two different systems fail yesterday due to dirty/oxidised contacts I'm wondering how effective the various cleaner aerosols are - has anyone had experience & which is best?

I have some called Colclene ... but it is over 30 years old! From when computer engineers still carried soldering irons.

Get it from an electronics company/supplier rather than a general purpose store ...
