Ive got a 1977 clubman estate auto and cant work out which is the right torque for the driveshaft nut. The manual says:
Driveshaft nut front drum brakes:60 lbft
Driveshaft nut mk1-3 cooper s : 150lbft
It has front drum brakes, but at the same time it has q hardy spicer joint and 1.1/16 hub nut. This makes me think it should be 150lbft, but seeing as its quite a big difference I thought Id better ask.

Thank you, and yes the hardy spicer to diff flange also needs to be tightened but there’s absolutely no way to fit a socket in there, so it’ll just be as tight as I can get it with an open end of a spanner
