Hi everyone i have been looking on here for a while and want to build up my own car but due to lack of space and cash right now i think my best bet is to get an engine that i can strip and rebuild till i move next year to a property with a garage to keep a full car. Anyway to the point i keep looking at ebay, gumtree and such looking for an a series engine to start. I have a buying budget of around £100 which i know is very little but i really wish to get an amazing car. So i would be very greatful if everyone here could keep an eye out to help me find this engine and let me know. Smaller cc the better. Thank you very much

Hi mate

Having looked at engines a bit lately I think it might depend if you want something that runs or if you are just after something to mess about with. You'll need a decent set of tools and the odd specialist bit to strip and rebuild as well.

Hiya. Just after something that is mostly got all the main parts and is not seized to try and strip back to nothing. Thank you for the feedback

Gone for a block with pistons and crank , cam. And a seperate gear box to refurb and build up myself
