Hello everyone!

After five years of sitting in my garage, I was finally able to get my mini fixed again. The engine is being installed by a mechanic who hasnt worked on minis before. Its hard to find anyone around this part of the United States with experience in minis.
He wasnt the one who took it apart and while its almost put together now, hes having a hard time identifying a part. Does anyone know what the part in the attached picture is?
By the way, my mini is a 73 Morris Mini 850 with a 1275cc in it.

Thank you!

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I've just approved your account, so you should now be able to post up your photo, however, note that you'll need to use a 3rd party picture hosting site, like Imgur

I'm sure someone here will be able to help out

There are a few Classic Mini owners in Washington State who might be able to help you. Suggest you appeal on Mini Mania USA, or Mini Restoration for information. I believe Cheleker comes from your neck of the woods, and he is a font of information. Lots of guys in the Vancouver area would be able to help you as well. Jim
