This one seems to have been around a long time and I doubt it'll go anywhere anytime soon.

I met my wife (yes, I still have her,,, or she me!) in our Moke Club when we had it running, in fact, we met on the very day it got started.

The Moke she had then (1985)

It underwent a few transformations soon there after, as did we !!

Here on it's first engine re-build

We took it on many Club trips together and even our first born came along, enjoying some breaky here in one of the best settings

Some more transformation work can be seen in that one along with the trailer I built to make things a little more comfortable.

I'll find some photos, it was used as our Wedding car too.

Both our children, shortly after being born came home from hospital in it.

At our previous house, it did get land locked for a while and needed rescuing

Shortly there after, with a Moke Event looming, it underwent another transformation. This was the start of a very long 3 weeks,,,,

Love the Baby Carrier - we didn't have any of those on UK Mokes.... were they factory fitted at Zetland or Enfield?

They should have been !!

It was a baby chair that 'clipped' on to an ordinary table - or the front guard of a Moke !!  Very handy and kept his feet clean :D

Spider,

I can't have been paying attention in the shed. I didn't realise this was Linda's original Moke, the one you ripped the brake pedal stop off !

Every Moke should have a story, and this one certainly needs to come up with some answers !

Every Moke should have a story,

4X - I'm sure every Moke does have a story mate - they just need finding and telling ;D

My trouble here is, I've probably too many to tell !!

But yes, the very one in this thread has been with us now 33 years,,,,, since BC times (Before Children)

It's not only bought us together (for better or worse,,,), joined us in Holly Matrimony, transported our our off-spring on their first journey, taken us to lands afar but also over-seen countries fall and be joined, pre-9/11 times, pre-internet era, pre-mobile phone days, for that matter, FM Radio had not long started up (in Aust at least). Colour TV only hit our shores 10 years earlier,,,

The Moke I had at the time - on the day - we got Married

Just looking again at this photo, while I haven't done a count of how many Mokes are here, it's almost disturbing just how many of these cars here I've worked on over the years,,,,

Nice read Spida, and I spotted Mighty Moke back row 7th from left in your Wagga group photo.

Love the Iron maiden T-shirt.
