Does anyone have a picture of the rear of a centre dash clock.  I fitted some foam behind it as sound proofing and now the fuel gauge and left hand indicator lamp aren't working.  I must have knocked a connector but don't want to take the dash off to refit.  It's a 1980 van!

While I'm here, should the indicators self cancel.  The steering wheel shroud/cowl totally encloses the steering column so no pegs from the steering wheel boss.

I waggled some wires and the fuel gauge is now working again.

S'easy to knock the wires off and to knock the bulbs out - glad you've got it working.

On a 1980 van with standard parts the indicators should self-cancel.  There should be two pegs protruding from the rear of the steering wheel which engage in a circular piece of plastic which is part of the indicator switch.
