I'm not sure what the logic is by putting the lambda sensor there, as the outer cylinders run leaner than the centre. What you'll now find is your ECU will try and compensate by running much richer, thinking your engine is running lean. Best place for it is where it can sniff the collection, like the OEM manifold. Hense why anyone with a wideband fits it almost under the car.

You're also going to struggle to fit the rear bench seat with that much foam (i did the same and had to remove it all). If you still want to fit some foam, best place would be underneath the panel.

no logic if I'm being honest just went off a picture

if you think this is going to cause me an issue i might have to move again?

as for the rear seats I'm not fitting them my plan will be shown soon enough :)

thing is, in the cast one, from the pics i can find its only in one side, and that manifold one shows it mounted there, there maybe some correction going on in the fueling to cope with this in the map, so you may/could mess it up by moving it. Thats only a guess though, by the way, going this far with it, are you going to use a standard ecu or a microsquirt or something?

The collector on the MPi sniffs from centre and outers.

I really wanted to put a mpi throttle body kit from specialist components in there but being honest I just can’t afford that right now, so standard for now. Money will be better spent getting her in some paint me reckons ;)

I used the same closed cell foam / dynamat in our MPI too.  Helped counteract the louder exhaust I put on.  Lined the doors too, that was a good job, door has a real solid feel when it clunks shut.
