Went up to the MK1 mini action day with my son and friend today, well worth the 500 mile trek from Wiltshire! A glorious day with some very nice cars also met a couple of Forum members there and had a bit of a chat.

Just a small selection of my pictures from the day loads of different incarnations of the mini.

Saw some photos kicking around on Facebook. There was a lovely 1960 original Downton up there and an original Moke prototype. Very rare cars indeed

This is defiantly a track day/show not to miss, very well organised and run by the MK1 performance

and The Sporting minis guys, and the in support of a well deserving charity.

As andyt says lots of different variations of the mini, very interesting people , and fabulous weather,

and much to my surprise and embarrassment on the day, I picked up my first bit of silverware with

The Car of the Show trophy.

Good news! A well deserved trophy for your restoration of a very rare coachbuilt Mini.
