Hi
I think my water pump is a bit corroded up ,got a new pump to fit, but what's best for flushing the block through? Cheers Attached File  20180506_234949.jpg   38.39K   0 downloads

Wow that is the worst I have seen. Obviously sea water has been used as coolant :goaway:

That is why I am so anal about using good coolants and changing it every 3 years, like wise with the hydraulic brake systems

I don't think flushing will help much for the block, it will need some heavy chemical cleaning.

Put the old pump back on with a gasket and fill the engine with vinegar, or even better phosphoric or citric acid

That's what you get for standing over 7 years, antifreeze was expensive stuff that came from my work.
Will caustic soda damage the head gasket?
