Hi all,

Been busy reassembling the mini after I broke it down into 100 pieces. Pretty pleased that it fired up first time!

I may be crazy, and I will test again, but what is this hole on the water pump for? I feel that water is bouncing off of the engine fan creating a light mist of water. Perhaps just residue but Im not sure if something is wrong here. Getting the rad back in was a double barrel nuisance!!

Thoughts? I have a video but it wont upload...

They call that hole a 'tell tale' ;D

They designed this pump well so you can see the tell tale - many other vehicle manufactures have the that hole at the bottom (Mercedes is a good example) so when it is leaking you never see it

Also useful for oiling squeaky bearings.
