Do these look ok? I had a bit of a job removing the nylon cup. Had to resort to heating them to the point of melting and then scraping the remains out. I assume that hole at the bottom is meant to be there?

Also, how can you tell if the bush inside the tubular part is still ok? I don't want to replace it if its fine

The part the knuckle sits In looks fine, the cup is just casting marks. Personally id replace the roller bearings and shaft as there easy enough to do.

You can clean and put a smudge of grease in there to ease future replacement.
+1 on the bearings, tho I didn't change mine as they where mint, didn't have a spare set and I'm lazy... 🙄

The top of them folded out, but then just tore as I pulled on them. The bottom of them were stuck solid

If you give everything a really good clean then put the arm back in with the pin and a smear of clean grease you'll feel if the bushes are worn out, if they feel smooth without any movement other than that it's supposed to then you could keep them.

The tiny hole in the bottom of the hole is original

The needle rollers look like they have seen more water than grease, and the nipple is buried in crud

What does the surface of the shaft look like where the bearings run each end ?

Any pitting renew the lot and make sure the get a pump of grease every service, same for the radius arm nipples.
