so this was isolated to one bigend? are theyre any spots that look hot? possibly frim a high spot?

 

as mentioned the rod could be out of round, plasrigauge wont pick this up easily, also the cap did go on the right way around after plastigauging?  also the rods are handed, and can bind if put 180 degrees out.  also check for any debris behind the bearing that could caus a high spot, and any raised part numbering ( i always flat it back with wet&dry sand paper to check). also check for a step where the cap and rod meets, in case of any miss alignment( eg swapping of caps)
