Headlight switchs can sometimes burn out if you have halogens headlight fitted, have you checked all the fuses? what type of mini is it and what age?

The fuses are all fine too.
I haven't taken off the steering cowl yet but anything under there wouldn't affect the headlights and hazards would it?
Basically things that work are the indicators. The brake lights come on when the ignition and engine is on. They stay on too and pressing the brake doesn't affect them at all. The hazards, headlights, dipped lights, horn, dash lights, reverse light and fogs don't work at all. Completely stumped

So all the wires seem to be fine, nothing is corroded or disconnected.
The fuses are all fine too.

Thank you! I'll get a new fuse box and see if that sorts it out

I'll bet one or more of the spade terminals looks OK but it's rotten inside.

Got to be a combination of corroded wires, terminals and fuse box.

Would you say a new wiring loom is overkill? The mini's been plagued with electrical issues. I'll have another look and check and clean all the terminals and change the fuse box first though
