Morning all,

I'm currently packing up to move house at the weekend and found these in a box. had them since I was a kid. Are they rare or commonplace?

The Mini Mk 2 is commonplace.

If the Wolseley still has the illumination intact behind it, it is fairly rare, but there are not that many customers.

You don't see many of the Austin crest with the circular bezel they are quite rare, have been after one for ages and as far as I know no makes a replica. That particular badge would fetch a good price on the likes eBay nice item, looks in great condition.

I have a few of the circular MkII Austin badges. They do come up from time to time and the price varies considerable.

They do seems to get a sort of cracking effect in the clear plastic (about the best way I can describe it) and is it’s not too deep it can usually be polished out.

For badges in that condition they seem to go for about £40. For pristine/show condition ones people generally ask well over £100. I’ve seen some for sale for a few hundred, of course there is a world of difference between what people ask and what they actually sell them for

From the picture you’ve posted it does seems to be in really good condition

Don't see too many original ones. Repros can be got for the Mk2 Austin but they're not great quality. Generally repro badges are pretty bad. I fitted a repro Mk1 Austin to my Mk1-alike Rally Mini and it is so thin I had to use a few layers of double sided tape to it would fit in the original surround I had.

The Wolseley grille badge is pretty rare.

Thank you all for your replies. We've been moving house so I've only just really had a chance to find the bloody things. After hearing what you've all said I've decided to sell them, finances are tight after the move and if I ever have Mk2 money then the price of buying these again would be no problem anyway. Ive just taken some photos. In reply to the question asked, the bonnet badge is crack free, or at least I can't see any. The boot badge needs some black paint behind it as it has all flaked off. The Wolsely one has no illumination. I'll get them on Ebay this weekend. Cheers!

These auctions finish in 30 mins folks and you won't see a better bonnet badge for a mk2 in a long time.
