Hi;

 

Dumb question but what type / size 12v bulbs do I need to provide the correct illumination for gauges such as Vaccum Gauge and Oil Pressure?

 

I fitted the only bulb I had lying around when I put the custom dash together and it is way too bright. I think they would sell the correct ones locally somewhere such as EuroCar Parts?

I assume you mean for the Smiths 52mm gauges, there are two alternatives depending on the type of bulb holders you have earlier bulb holders are for a screw in type bulb and the later are a push fit capless bulb both are rated at 2.2 watts.

It’s the screw in type I believe. Think I may have found some. What voltage are they?
