I've been over to my Mum's in France for a week and have been driving her mini around as much as I can. I'm definitely going to be having to get another of my own soon.

Sorry if this doesn't belong here but have found out that the Speedo cable had been tucked under the manifold and down by the engine, I realised the cables and wires all needed a good tidy up.

What are your tips for keeping cables and wires tidy including the best places to have the tucked away/around etc

Not too much you can do but start by removing the old fashioned black electrical tape, cleaning the wires with brake cleaner or degreaser and re-wrap them in the cotton type loom tape that sticks to itself, but not to the wires. Makes it look a little less grubby....
