Hi my engine is supercharged with the m45 but its a blow through with 9 psi of boost and I'me using the amethyst boost version. If I was you I wouldn't bother to by the boost version If you are not planing to boost it more than 10 psi or you have a high compression ratio. When we mapped the ignition we didn't give any retard at all. Just to ask you some thing what trigger are you using in the distributor because I used the magnetic type distributor as fitted on the metro turbo and it gave all sorts of problems. One of the most strange thing was that the module didn't follow the map at all and when we checked it with the strobe light we found that it was advancing almost the double the values on the map the more you increase the revs. Just to be sure check if its following the map.

I bought a dizzy unit off aldon bud, so whatever unit they gave me. I'll double check and make sure it's working properly, I've already bought and fitted the boost version but I've not set it up yet. I don't suppose you could share your map could you?

It's not a problem I will try to download the map but first I hope that it will work with Windows 10.

Thanks so much mate, that would be great. I'll need to find a decent rolling road tuner to get it done properly but something I can use as a base would be brilliant.

Took it on  wee run and it looks like it's boosting to about 8.5 psi

Hi guys, I've got a Amerthyst on my 1330 Na engine. I'm planning a turbo conversion at some point, I've got the vacuum version. I sent an email to Aldon tech. They replied that it can be used as a boost unit by simple software change. Il see if I can find the email. Mine has been a real head ache since I first fitted it. I bought a ready to fit kit from power spark. After a lot of messing about it turned out there engineer had not locked the centrifugal weights up. It's was massively advancing then weirdly switching its map to single cylinder.would be nice to see a few more proven maps around for the Amerthyst

I think most people use megajolt for forced induction use. And the map for each engine is different. There will be maps out there that will allow you to get the car running and driving, but to get the most out of it the map will need to be tweaked on a rolling road.
