Ouch!

The carbon fibre and fibreglass helped I believe as the deer literally bounced off.
Doing 60mph and the Deer unfortunately died at the scene!

Yikes, that did a number on the mini. Not the end of the world and at least you are ok. Did the Deer turn into venison burgers?? Thats the least it could have done after the damage it done!!!!

That's actually very sore looking, my friend hit one and it was towed home, we changed the dizzy cap, rotor arm and straightened the front a bit so the bonnet would close then run it for 3 years 😁

Hi,
When I worked in the motor trade we had a Citroen Xantia come in.
The driver lived out in the sticks up in Scotland. He'd hit a sheep on the way home at the weekend. It destroyed the front of the car, to the point it broke the oil heat exchanger off the front of the engine block and needed a new cast iron block!
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Years ago ran in to a dear in a Cortina.

Your mini seems to have done quite well.

Glad you are ok

Did you manage to brake at all? Looks like you didn't have more than a few seconds of a warning.

That's a lucky escape - providing you're ok - the car stood up pretty well (I had a proton GTI for a short while - hit a badger - write off for both car & badger) - visually at least easy fix - hope insurers sort you out ( this is where agreed valuation and disclosing every mod pays off) from height of impact  I'd bet subframe is still good - you didn't even break the screen!!! - small deer???

I didnt really have chance to brake.

The deer was very large as it took 4 people to drag it off the road.

Its valued at 1500 but not sure what will happen and all mods have been added so all good there.

What was the animal thinking of? was it blind? - no eye deer.............I'll get me coat.

Glad you're OK and there's not too much venison mince to scrape off the car.
