Hello everyone.
Minitravellerman (aka Ian Campbell) here from Co Down, Northern Ireland.
As the username will give away, I have a Morris Mini Traveller - a 1964 flat roof model that I am in the process of coverting to full Cooper S spec, complete with 1293 Manx engine prepared by our very own Mervyn Johnston (who won the touring class of the Circuit of Ireland rally back in 1964).
I also have a 1987 Mk1 look a like that once was my daily driver to University but has slowly evolved into a retro rally car that I compete in targa and retrospective rallies in, as well as having competed on the autotest circuit here in NI, bringing the lowly little 998 to 3rd in class in the 2017 NI Autotest championship despite being outclassed by much more powerful cars.
I got my first Mini 20 odd years ago and literally have lot count of how many have passed through my hands since I was 12 years old - I think I'm onto number 30 something, but the Traveller has been in my ownership longer than any other Mini I've owned, and will continue to be for many many years to come.
Looking forward to being a part of the TMF community.
