Hi there, Im just about to start a topic thats been covered many times before so please bare with me as I cant find a definitive answer.

I have a 1275 using a mg electronic distributor . One with the module screwed on the side,
Its in a stock car so the coil gets 12v and thats it, what coil should I be using? Ballast or non ballast or something else I literally have no clue what I should be buying

Any advice would be great

Cheers

so if 12V it aint ballasted as the feeds the coil at 9v (pink wire)

HI  I've got the same distributor and just bought the Lucas DLB 198 this is specifically for the standard electronic distributor, about £18 on ebay.
