Hi

We fitted the mini spares gear selector leak kit however its still loosing oil more rapidly then I would like and the only sign of a leak is around the gear selector. Can I mess the install up or could I be missing something?

Thanks

John

If the bore that the seal fits in to has a scratch in it (usually from digging an old seal out), it will still leak for sure.

Thank you, so would it be worth pulling the current one out and inspecting it?

You might enough room to put a second seal in. You can do that without dropping the oil.

I've got 2 seals in mine, before and after the rebuild and know a lot of others do the same. Definitely worth it!
