hmm - not quite what you'd promised, but a nice looking little austin - the grey & red combination is particularly classy i think

 

The roof on the A35 has caused a few issues with me also as i really like the colour and it would work on mine..the paint is stunning apparently mine will be better..even if its aerosol i'll be happy at mo !

Keeping us in suspence.. I actually logged in 6 times today for the reveal.
Lovely looking A35 though.
Also lovely looking workshop with some lovely looking tools in there as well..

Gives you more time to clean up some of the little parts to re fit....

 

Yes sorry to disappoint ..little bit miffed myself but all good things come to him who waits hopefully ..the A35 was semi restored by another restorer and had to be redone by my guy as the work was so shocking..looks a peach now ..

So while i wait further progress on the body id make a start getting things ready to enable me to move it back home..Mostly gathering the suspension parts which is all done and just requires final assembly...

Well.. i'd love to say its painted but its not.. ...its only a two man band and one was off last week on hols hence further delays..word is this week will see more action, still tinkering behind the scenes but nothing worth a mention or pics..will let you all know as soon as a hint of colour is out of the tin...

Thanks for asking..i sound like a stuck record and I'm eager to reveal any progress painful as the waiting is I'm stuck due to there workload... i had my weekly visit yesterday and the word from them is its going in the booth Monday to have the inside painted followed by the roof ( maybe a colour change ! )..then engine bay..it will then come off the jig for the remaining body..it does look super straight and the prep work will be worth the wait..yours is looking mighty fine and is a great source of inspiration to get on with mine..

This has been delayed as he can not actually decide what shade of pink he is going for...

i guess one potential benefit of getting the shell back later in the year is you'll have a good while to put it all back together again before the weather improves enough to want to take it out and play
