Hi, I'm new to the forum (obviously) and I picked up this troubled soul the weekend.

He's a '93 Rover Cooper partially made to look like an S.
There's a couple of Leyland badges which will be coming off toot sweet.
And along with the strange speedo cluster going on, an undeserved Morris cooper s badge.

Came with a 3 page £3k garage bill for the engine rebuild and fettle done about 850 miles ago, which I thought was a bit of a brucy bonus.
Re-bored to 1330
Twin "hs2 su's"?
High lift cams
Rc40 exhaust
Gearbox fiddling and final drive change

Oh, and twin maserati branded air horns, which are hilarious.

before you go nuts on the dash check out if it is a registered Wood and Picket conversion.

I'm not sure it would be, you can't actually see the speedo itself over the middle of the steering wheel.
But then again that might have been a later addition, I have sent an email to wood and Pickett anyway to see of they know anything about it.

I would keep the dash, it’s certainly a talking point.

I don't want to get rid of it, just the Morris badge needs changing, and the steering wheel needs lowering so you can actually see the speedo while driving.
Potentially need to shorten the speedo cable too.
