I have a poster from a BMC dealership in Sweden from what looks to be 1967, i am trying to find out more about it and the photo on it, i have already found a picture of the driver, the reg of the car and the programme from the rally but i still cant find the photo used in the poster.

does anyone have more info at all?

drop the current organisers an Email "info at eastswedenrally.se"

but the "Dog Boxes" (Kennel) were and still are very popular in Sweden.

Ytterbring was a very rapid driver.

He also towed my driver and me back onto the road after we went off on the Swedish Rally in 1970. A great guy.

I remember a photo of Barrie Williams "flying"  120 MNP, with the caption  "The hand book says that the kingpins should be greased while the wheels are off the ground"

And, like Barrie, you are from Herefordshire.

Yes, but we Yokels don't like people to know where it is, and to discourage strangers, tell them that they can't spell and that if anyone asks where they have been, they are are somewhere north of Watford

Oooo -  Ahhh;  Cider !

A couple of tankards makes every lane look like a dual carriageway.

Don't know if you've seen this page already, it's from a swedish rally enthusiast:

http://www.ampe.info/rallybore2/

There you can see Lars Ingvar, plus one other driver (Karl Gunnar Blomqvist) in another mini, jumping over a small bump on the Bore Rally in 1966. Sadly neither are the photo you were looking for, but might be fun to see nontheless :)

Here are some more picture from the Östgöta Rally in 1967:

http://old.lms.se/ra...allyt_1967.html

Once again some jumping minis, but sadly not the photo you're after...

Did find this one which is a bit more similar though:

rally_av_rolf_sundh_010_009.jpg

That's from a thread on the mk1 forum, the topic of which mentions something about the BMC Sweden works cars... Sadly I'm not a member there so I couldn't investigate further. Maybe there's something there?

Regards,

Anton.
