HI, Sounds promising, will it still work with the battery disconnected ? if i was going to steal a mini the first thing would be to remove the battery.

Many devices on the market have long term power loss abilities, with backup power supplies.

I used the Minivation one. It was good despite the slightly complex interface/app requirement, but it just stopped working after about a year - no doubt due to it being based on cheap Chinese tat hardware.

Stick an old iPhone behind the dash on a cheap sim only deal then you can track it on find my friends app

Mine was a Minivation one too, and mine also stopped working after about a year, they have now stopped responding to my emails, and previously gave some very "non customer friendly" responses.

This is the reason we have moved to start our own service.

Yeah, I have been using my own service since the beginning of June.

I am currently working on setting up the website side of things, but the service is up and running!
