I very successfully stripped the clear coat off a set of secondhand revolution four spokes with a steam cleaner, didn't take long either. I happily wash the crap off the car with a pressure cleaner but would think twice at getting stuck into it with a steam cleaner set at 100deg! Good for cleaning old underseal off though!
