Just picked up some Group 2 race arches from Minisport, but the fit just doesn't seem right..

The curvature of the whole arch just seems incorrect, as if it's too large. Even tried squeezing the arch, but the whole fit is awful.

Anyone else had issues with fitting these??

Thanks

They need work to fit, always get the best fit you can before painting them

I have Group 2 arches from Huddersfield Minispares to replace the ageing Rover special arches.
The Group 2’s needed to be shaped to get the right fit & then I could cut the slots out to clear the seams.
Luckily the previous screw holes lined up, except the rear ones right down bottom near the bumper.
I had to re-drill these holes to pull the arches in to body.

As mentioned, trial fit before painting.

If they're fibreglass and they need tweaking to fit the curves of the body panels you can gently heat them with a hot air gun until pliable, form them to the body panel and let cool.

that's the trouble nowadays so many copies and not many originals.

How in the hell do these copies end up so far out.

Blame it on the bods who have them made, 1 inch to long doesnt matter to them,

YO it does to us.

send them back let them keep em
