Can anybody tell me which wire goes where on the back of my Lucas Rev Counter please? There are 3 terminals marked as follows : minus is obviously earth , then there is a plus 12 and finally a terminal mark with the figure 1. Any help would be appreciated.

I would think that the +12 is a live feed (from ignition) and the one marked 1 is the signal wire from the negative side of the coil.

This is the closest diagram I could find, click on the 'how do I wire up my tachometer' link and scroll down to near the bottom of the page.
