Could anyone be able to tell me if there is a difference between the door step on an external door hinged mini and the later door steps. I know they are of a different length and the shaping at the ends is different, but what I am interested in is the actual cross sectional profile of the step itself, is it the same from the top of the inner sill to the top edge of the outer sill, in profile and in width?

The front end of the steps are completely different. The external hinges cars are radiused in both front and back corners and as original are part of the side panel, if you need to purchase some buy the m machine full steps for a external hinges car or heritage steps for n internal hinges car.
