I’m running a promotive kit which uses the standard mini bottom case for the diff but I’m looking to make the drive shafts equal length there’s a kit on mini sport but does not work with the later pot type can I convert to the hardy splice early type and keep it quaife lsd

It won’t be much weight gained but will make the drive shafts equal length which would help with the torque steer

There's a few different views on this and frankly, in a Mini, I'm of the view that drive shaft lengths don't come in to play here.

These adaptors emulate the inside of pot joint and provide the mounting flange for a hardy spicer UJ. They should be what you’re looking for.

As far as the torque steer goes have you ever had the car setup by someone that really know Mini suspension? You can bolt on all the fancy parts you want but if they’re not setup properly they’re worth nought.

Many thanks these look spot on I have had the car looked at but I thought I’ll make the drive shafts equal length that’s got to help for start and then get another setup properly

will do nothing for torque steer. never had any issues. you are trying to fix something you will not have.

never had torque steer in this when on 6X10s or 9x13s  would happily spin the wheels in first-second and some times third. and went in a straight line. you do not need equal length drive shafts. the length aint the issue.
