Hi all, have finally managed to wire my switch up, and bought a new cap for the reservoir .
Problem I have is the switch is always illuminated!
I have checked the fluid level and it’s just above minimum, would this be the problem ?
I have one purple wire on side of the switch, one black and white on the other side and in the terminal I have a black and a black and white .
Thanks in advance
Kath

Top up your fluid with some DOT 4. The wiring sounds right. As you’re facing it should be purple left side, black and white right side, and the terminal should be black top, black and white bottom.

A quick test you can do, to check your wiring is to either remove a wire from the cap or take the cap off and turn it up-side-down and that should make the lamp go out.
