The other thing I'd suggest is to fit a Plug or Bullets either in the door or the Pillar so that future door removal, should it be necessary, doesn't entail a rewire of it all.

Hey Steve, I have bought of couple of these same MK2 loom grommets.

Do you have any advice about cutting the holes and fitting them? Will it be required to take the doors off first?
