Hi Everyone....

I need to buy some more spade connectors for the wiring on the bottom of the ignition coil - but cant for the life of me find some that will fit!

Ideally i'd like them identical as to the ones currently in place (see pic).

Does anyone have a link to ones they've bought and are using, or can advise on any shops that may sell them (my local halfords dont have any!)? Ebay is throwing up a different type :(

Cheers!

If i bought some 15Amp piggyback ones, would they be okay to use?

You can get a variety of them with different amps - my Haynes doesnt say which amps i need :(

I've been looking for a while too with no success.

TE Connectors (Manufacturer) list them as an item they make, but when I contacted them, while receiving an initial response and a couple of others thereafter, they never came back with a quote.

I've even contemplated making a few !

Nick, are you sure Halfords would have them?

But, if anyone does have any leads, like Jordann, I'd also be interested.

How about having the female connectors be flat and the male connectors being piggy-back? 20 amps are fine.

Thanks Nick, that definitely gives us another lead that I hadn't thought of.

Cheers but they are for a wire, not a screw, though, I can see how that could be adapted.

Hi,

Older Ford's such as escorts, sierras and fiestas had them for the negative connection for the heated rear screen. Late 80s early 90s era. I think the hole maybe a little bit smaller.

Cheers  :proud:

EDIT https://ford.7zap.co...39/15963/69774/

Part 31 on that screen.

Ford finis code (or part number to the non ford people) 1591559
