hi has anyone got any ideas about detailing on a grille i would really like to paint something on it like a union jack or teeth any suggestions?

its a red mayfair 1990. Alloy wheels, and grey trim (wheel arches) will have union jack on roof.

I've not seen them for sale anywhere, but there was a rather funky looking grille on a bright yellow Mini convertible, cover car of MiniWorld mag back in September 1995 I think, I haven't got my really old mags to hand so can't check. Basically instead of having chrome horizontal strips it was like a series of rectangular holes... bit hard to describe I'm afraid! A bit like a waffle. :w00t:

If anyone's got a September 95 MiniWorld lying around, is there any chance we could have a piccy please?

you mean the richard grant grille? i have that on my mini.. i love it! :w00t:

I haven't got any pictures of it on mine.. but i found this picture. is it the one you meant? not a very good picture i'm afraid...

yeah the RGM one is mean, i love that grille! how about some boyracer-type mesh, could look cool with a design on it.

im not actually looking for a grille although they are great suggestions, i just want ideas of what to airbrush onto the existing grille. Many Thanks

hard to do this is mate, I've added a grill and air brushed it lol..... trying to do a decent design now...

that looks really good but do you think it could actually be done because of the different angles of the grille when painted?

thanks im going to try it i'll paint the grille dark grey first if it turns out the way ur pic looks it'l be awsome!
