I am a newbie-ish returning on this forum after a bad experience 6/7 years ago (got contacted through this forum by unreliable member (ejected since then) unfortunately who ended up costing me 3k before I had to pull out...all that to say, I have been wanting a mini for the more than a decade but with that experience it is a bit like a divorce, takes a few years to go over it & start again =0
Moved to Caterham not long ago & about to collect my refurbished mini (started life as a 1982 998cc but been completely stripped with new engine (stage 4 1380cc) at a workshop in Belgium (long story but I know the people personally - I am belgian).
I am not massively mechanically enclined guy (until now! my brother who is the classic car fanatic took this project for me) so looking for:
- the closest member's club
- somewhere where I could "learn by doing" how to maintain my beauty & through that learn more about my car
any pointer would be hugely appreciated!
