Does anyone have any experience of these rockers?
Have 1.5 rockers fitted now but they have starting tapping quite a lot. Checked the tappets and adjusted correctly ones that needed doing.
Initially was quiet but has stated tapping again and last start up, it started and was quiet for about 20 seconds then all of a sudden starts loudly tapping again.
Any idea ? I'm assuming it's the rockers but open to suggestions.
Thanks

Yip, I had the same problem. Rockers hitting the alloy rocker cover. Sounds like loose tappets. Try putting some weight on the rocker cover (push towards carby's) and see if it make a difference.

I wouild prefer fitting 1.4 rollers on my mini as they are not so high lift and make a good balance.

You can find them in mini sport

You're much less likely to be hitting the rocker cover with the Minispares '1.5' forged rockers than with roller rockers.

Did you fit the standard 'spring spacers' on the rocker shaft or the metal spacers?

Having examined the rocker cover, it appears that the valve springs both sides have been rubbing against the rocker cover. The rockers are clear. I still don't understand how the engine can be quiet on inital start up then after 20 seconds start tapping.
The rockers have spring spacers fitted. They have Keith Dodd stamped in them.

Could be the metal expanding fractionally as it warms just enough to make contact?
