Hi All!

After a bit of advice as to a rough figure of what my 1275 Engine might be worth as I've had some interest. I've recently decided to go down the Vtec route! so will no longer be needing the mini engine.

I started a rough list of parts that was brought over time, All from Smiffy's Bits, DSN or Mini Spares

Billet Alloy Thermostat Housing
Billet Alloy Water pump pulley
Billet Alloy Oil Filter Housing
Stainless Alternator Bracket
Stainless Distributor Bracket
New Starter Motor
New fuel pump
Stainless Clutch Bracket
Stainless Dipstick
Central Oil Pickup Pipe
Braided Oil Filter Hose
New Water Pump
New Oil Pump
New Clutch Kit

Polished Rocker Cover

I do have Distributor/Leads, Alternator, Carb etc, Just not as shiny!

I really don't want to rip myself off, so any help would be much appreciated!

( Not the most recent pictures so don't show everything! will get some better ones )

you need to give us a clue what the inside is like...? good bad or what...

Looks good but so did the one I am rebuilding for a customer...

It's a very good engine and has been in the car at one point running lovely, unfortunately the only thing that lets it down is the unknown mileage as it was part exchanged for a 998 engine, here's a few pictures from over the few years I've owned it ( some pictures before the color change and shiny bits )
Just have no idea what sort of money to ask for it!

So all standard and untouched inside from unknown mileage - just painted & shiny bits added?

Were the big ends & mains inspected when the 'box was off? Has the 'box been inspected? Compression or leak down test?

I'd go with Retroman's valuation too - it really is a collection of parts and anyone buying would need to consider a proper rebuild or chance their arm running as is..
