As I was coming out of Sainsbury’s in Nuthall on thurs a little white City E (I think) was being driving in to the petrol station by an elderly couple.

I kept wondering if they had had it from new and looked after since then. Been their little family car together all these years and wondered what adventures as a family they must have had - I’m getting soft in my old age

I saw more minis on the roads in Japan while on holiday for 2 weeks than I have done the rest of the year in the UK

Spotted a tidy looking Y reg 850 BRG with white roof and chrome arches in the White Moss garden centre car park in Widnes, just in time to see it driving off towards Widnes as we came out. 

Also a couple of weeks ago saw a similar coloured late Cooper coming through some roadworks in Manchester, I was in the Mini but I don't think he saw me.

Haven't spotted any for like a month when it's been really nice out, but spotted two out driving in the pouring rain today.

 

Nice Tahiti Blue one and a bright Yellow one of the A45, had a Black Grille with 'TINY' in Yellow sprayed on the grille

Whilst out in Percy today i spotted another mini! First time ever whilst in mine. Lovely looking woody traveler in Long Eaton, Notts. Gave a quick thumbs up to the lady driver who look just as delighted to see Percy

Took my Mk1 for a wee run to collect my son from work. Popped into Tesco on way home and saw a really pretty purple Equinox as we were leaving.

Saw three over a couple of days in Interlaken, Switzerland a couple of weeks ago including a very tidy van.

Not seen a mini on the roads for a bit then seen 2 within a minute of each other in kimberley, Notts

Lovely cream one parked up then a purple/burgundy one drove by - slightynunsurenof the colour

After not seeing many on the roads for a while I saw a couple of minis on my journey to work on Wednesday, later coopers, one was blue/purple the other red with silver roof and another 1 yesterday, all red, mk1 grille, cake.  Thinking about it, I did see a light blue car driving around near home last week, have seen this one before.  Also, maybe a few weeks ago there was a blue City a few streets along.

 

So inspired I drove mine to work today.  As we finish early on Fridays hopefully traffic wont be so bad this evening, with a fairly hot cam its not too much fun in stop start traffic.

Ive seen the first on in a month today
